Goats
Goats are hardy, versatile livestock animals valued for their milk, meat, fiber, and even land-clearing abilities. Known for their curious and independent personalities, they are excellent climbers and can adapt to a wide variety of environments. Goat milk is often prized for being easier to digest than cow milk, and certain breeds produce specialty fibers like cashmere and mohair. Farmers and homesteaders also use goats for brush control, since they naturally graze on weeds, shrubs, and invasive plants.
