Hey Yall! My name is Melissa Gaytan and I seriously can’t wait to meet yall! A little bit about me I showed all through our high school. Went to every show I could whether it was a little jackpot show to even getting the opportunity to show at Houston rodeo. I have a very very big passion for showing cattle. I did steers all my 4 years but my last year I got the opportunity to raise about 5 heifers and oh my gosh I loved it. My biggest passion in the ring is showmanship ur confidence is the most best thing you can do for yourself while in this amazing program! Again I can’t wait to meet yall and go through this experience with yall!

Melissa Gayton serves as an instructor at Fat Boy Ranch, leading the heifer program and co-instructing steers. With a strong background in livestock and a passion for youth development, Melissa guides kids as they learn the skills, patience, and responsibility that come with raising cattle. She brings encouragement and steady mentorship to every child she works with, helping them succeed in the show ring while also building character and confidence for life. Melissa’s dedication ensures that young people leave Fat Boy Ranch prepared to be leaders, both in agriculture and in their communities.
